DANIEL FAST DAY 15:

MAKING DECISIONS WITH WISDOM

Opening Prayer:

Father God Almighty, we shout for joy to the LORD, we worship the LORD with gladness; we come before You with joyful songs. We know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. We enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise; we give thanks to You and praise Your name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; and His faithfulness continues through all generations. Today is day 15 dear Lord and we thank You. Jesus Christ you are the rock onto which we build our foundation. We love you Jesus! Holy Spirit please we invite you to come and have your way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Bible Reading 1: Matthew 6:12,14-15

"And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

 

Comment:

Unforgiveness will reap you off your blessings. Unforgiveness will block your prayers from getting to God. Do yourself a favor and forgive.

Bible Reading 2: 1 John 1:5-9

"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 

 

COMMENT:

We are the light of the world. Let your light so shine so that the world will see that you are a disciple of Jesus Christ. The world is watching you to see if you truly are walking the talk. You may be the only Bible someone will ever read. Let your light shine!

Bible Reading 3: 1 Corinthians 1:10

"I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought."

 

COMMENT:

God is a God of unity and not division. God is a God of peace. God loves to see us work in one mind and thought – in one accord like the disciples did in the book of Acts. Great miracles took place because the disciples were in oneness.

 Bible Reading 4: John 13:34-35

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” 

 

COMMENT:

Unbelievers will know we are Christians when we love one another. We are one in the Spirit and we are one in the Lord. We are one. Let us love one another as we love ourselves.

"Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

 

COMMENT:

Choose eternal life by believing the Redeemer. He is the Tree of Life.

"He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."

 

COMMENT:

The Lord is faithful. He is not a man that should lie. The Lord says when trouble comes He will be with us. The devil is busy but God is real.

Bible Reading 7: Colossians 3:9-10

"Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."

 

COMMENT:

What you do to others, you are doing to God. Do not lie to others. Put on your belt of honesty. 

 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, bring me back to you and fill my mind with your wisdom. Give me the Spirit of wisdom. Holy Spirit, help me to know what is right and to be eager in doing your will. Father, I recognize that Your move on Earth is affected by my prayers. You have shown me that it is persistent prayer that opens Heaven for the outpouring of Your blessings. Today I receive Your grace to pray for an open Heaven over my life. Holy Spirit, enable me behold every person with the eyes of love and wisdom and to glory in their success and perfection. I commit my problems, plans, and projects to You. Thank You in advance for instigating thoughts I'd not have conceived without your help. In Jesus' name, amen.

 

DANIEL FAST DAY 16:

PROTECTING YOUR FAMILY

OPENING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, here we are again Your children calling Your name. Praising You, worshiping You. We love You and today is day 16 of our intimate time with You. We are in awe of You. We call Your name in the morning when we wake up and Your name is also the last name on our lips when we go to bed at night. Father You are our shield and buckler and we hide under Your wings. No evil can ever befall us when You are by our side. Help us to seek You with an excited heart today and remind us that the answers to our prayers are only the beginning of a relationship with You. You are a Treasure dear Father. Jesus you are our salvation, our redemption, our life. Holy Spirit, we can’t do anything without you. Please come and help us with today’s  meeting. In Jesus name, amen.

Bible Reading 1: Psalm 91: 9-13

If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. (Psalm 91: 9-13)

 

COMMENT:

The LORD Most High is your fortress. Run to him for safety. God has commanded His angels to protect you wherever you go. When you're in trouble, stop blaming Him and shout out a specific request to Him. And His angels will respond promptly.

Bible Reading 2: 2 Timothy 4: 16-18

At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (2 Timothy 4: 16-18)

 

COMMENT: Depend  on the Master Jesus Christ who is standing by you and helping you spread the Message loud and clear to those who have never heard it. He'll snatch from the jaws of the lion! God's looking after you, keeping you safe in the kingdom of heaven. All praise to him, praise forever!

Bible Reading 3: Psalm 121: 3-8

He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will

not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. (Psalm 121: 3-8)

 

COMMENT: Allow God to be your Protector. He won't let you stumble. Your Guardian God will never doze or sleep. God's your Guardian, Shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moon-stroke

Bible Reading 4: Ephesians 6: 10-13

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Ephesians 6: 10-13)

 

COMMENT: Do the possible and the natural, and our God will do the impossible and the supernatural for you. God is strong, and He wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the

 

devil throws your way. Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own.

Bible Reading 5: Proverbs 10: 27-32

The fear of the LORD adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short. The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. The way of the LORD is a refuge for the blameless, but it is the ruin of those who do evil. The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land. From the mouth of the righteous comes the fruit of wisdom, but a perverse tongue will be silenced. The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. (Proverbs 10: 27-32)

 

COMMENT: The contrast between righteousness and wickedness is evident. When you choose righteousness, you are choosing life and protection and provision from the Lord. The Fear-of-God expands your life. The aspirations of good people end in celebration. God is solid backing to a well-lived life. Good people last - they can't be moved. A good person's mouth is a clear fountain of wisdom. The speech of a good person clears the air.

Bible Reading 6: Ecclesiastes 7: 11-14

Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun. Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it. Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked? When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future. (Ecclesiastes 7: 11-14)

 

COMMENT:  Double protection: wisdom and wealth! Plus this bonus: Wisdom energizes its owner. On a good day, enjoy yourself; On a bad day, examine your conscience. God arranges for both kinds of days so that we won't take anything for granted.

Bible Reading 7: John 17: 1-3, 14-23

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent...... I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one - I in them and you in me -  that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17: 1-3, 14-23)

 

COMMENT: You are hidden in Christ and you can do all things through Him who strengthens you. Your eternal life is your belief, conviction and certitude that the only true God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and that Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son. Jesus Christ loves you, has forgiven you your sins, for He shed all His blood and gave up His life to save you. Jesus Christ is your Savior, your Redeemer and your Protector.

 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, I thank You as I face a time of heavy responsibilities stretch out before me. I realize the price of greatness is responsibility. I know You will not ask more from me than You will give the strength to carry. Help me to draw on Your wells of wisdom, insight, discernment, and vision. In Your grace, be with my loved ones. watch over them and reassure me that You care. I come to You with an open heart. I acknowledge that there may be some inherited curses from my bloodline that may have blocked fulfillment of Your plans for my life. Today, I repent of the sins of my ancestors that may have opened the door for this reproach in my life. I cry out for Your mercy. Let the Blood of Jesus Christ go to the foundations of my natural background and correct the situation. In Jesus' name, amen.

DANIEL FAST DAY 17:

STRENGTHENING MARRIAGE

OPENING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, You are mighty, You are Glorious, You are Great, You are a God of wonders, a God of miracles, a God of the supernatural, a God of impossibilities, is there anything too hard for You? Today is day 17 dear Father and we say thank You. We love You dear Father because You first loved us. Jesus our Messiah, we love you. You have given us abundant life and we appreciate you Jesus. Holy Spirit, we invite you today, please come and have your way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

COMMENT: Know that God watches as you treat your spouse and members of your family.

COMMENT: God will grant your requests to make you happy and more faithful.

COMMENT: You build by wise planning, you make it solid through understanding, and you make profits by getting the facts correct.

Reading 5: Ephesians 3:14-21

"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! COMMENT:

 God is able to do far more than we can ever think or imagine according to the power that works in us. Whose report do you believe. Believe everything God has said concerning your life today.

"Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy." (Psalm 107 19-22)

 

COMMENT: Remember to give thanks to God when He rescues or heals you from desperation.

Reading from Ephesians 5:22-29

"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.  For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church." (Ephesians 5: 22-29)

 

COMMENT: God is in the business of making a family of God. The earthly family is a reflection of the heavenly. Maintain an order of harmony, cooperation and peace.

 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, Bless my marriage today.

Bless me and my husband with a clear vision of your purpose for our union. Bless us by ordering our steps.

Bless our prayers for each other.

Bless us with safety from all harm.

Bless us with a peaceful and loving home.

Bless us with hearts that are open and filled with gentle compassion for each other. Bless us so that we will remember to compliment and  encourage each other. Bless us with strength from the inside that spills forth to the outside so that no weapon can be formed against or within us. Bless my spouse in everything that he does this day. Bless their thoughts, words and deeds in every situation and under all circumstances.

Bless and fill my spouse's heart with overwhelming peace and joy. Hear their every concern and bring every appropriate solution to their mind clearly and gently. Bless me with patience so that I may be a more tolerant partner. Bless me to know and to see only the things that really matter and to surrender all habits of thought or speech that breed discord. Bless our finances today. Remind us to use our resources wisely and to give of our first fruits to you. Bless us so that we will cooperate with each other. Bless us so that we will see the goodness of your presence in each other. Bless us with kind thoughts of each other that spill forth from our mouths as kind words.

Bless us to know when to speak up and when to listen.

Bless us to hear -with our hearts, not our hurts. Bless our marriage to be a breeding place for your presence and your love. Dear Father God, we invite you into the center of my marriage so that it may grow to be all that you created it to be.

For the blessings of your peaceful, loving presence in the center of our marriage, we am so grateful. Let it be so! And So It Is! In Jesus’ name, amen.

 

 

DANIEL FAST DAY 18:

BREAKING THROUGH

OPENING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, we adore You. You adore us! You have good plans for us; plans to prosper us and keep us in good health. We thank You dear Lord for day 18. You are awesome! You say what we loose on earth is loosed in Heaven and what we bind on earth is bound in Heaven. You will arise this season and our enemies will be shattered in Jesus name. You dear Father is the air we breathe. Without You, there is no life, nothing. Jesus you are the bright morning star, the bread of life, you are living water. Thank you Jesus for the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, have your way in our midst today. In Jesus name, amen.

Bible Reading 1: Numbers 20: 2-13

Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. They quarreled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD! Why did you bring the LORD’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!” Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them. The LORD said to Moses, “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence, just as he commanded him. He and Aaron

gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank. But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.” These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD and where he was proved holy among them. (Numbers 20: 2-13)

 

COMMENT: Never think anything is impossible, for with God all things are possible. Look up to God whenever you're under pressure. You feel pressured because you have not cast your burden on the Lord. Do not miss your breakthrough like Moses and Aaron, because they did not trust God enough to ask Him to supply water to the Israelites. And God did it the supernatural way: from a rock!

Bible Reading 2: Exodus 17: 8-17

The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua, “Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.” So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up - one on one side, one on the other - so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.” Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my

Banner. He said, “Because hands were lifted up against the throne of the LORD, the LORD will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.” (Exodus 17: 8-17)

 

COMMENT: The Israelites had not learned to fight when they left Egypt. Yet all other tribes feared them because of what God did to Pharaoh. so the Lord promised to be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation. So king Saul lost God's favor and ruled for 38 more years without God. David replaced him and completed the fight with the Amalekites. Watch out for any assignments by God for you to carry out or complete.

Bible Reading 3: I Samuel 1: 10-20

In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, “LORD Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.” As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, “How long are you going to stay drunk? Put away your wine.” “Not so, my lord,” Hannah replied, “I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.” Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast. Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the LORD and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the LORD remembered her. So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the LORD for him.” (I Samuel 1: 10-20)

 

COMMENT: When you cry out to the Father from your heart like Hannah, the Lord is faithful to remember you and grant you your desires. Hannah became pregnant after a long time. What do you long for from God? Ask God so passionately that people will think you're crazy. But trust God and He will see you through.

Bible Reading 4: Daniel 3: 26-30

Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them. Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can

save in this way.” Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon. (Daniel 3: 26-30)

 

COMMENT: God is always eager to intervene in your affairs because He loves you. He received the glory for rescuing the Jewish boys from the furnace. They defied the king's orders to worship the golden statue. They trusted that their God they serve can rescue them from the roaring furnace and anything else. And that even if God doesn't, it wouldn't make a bit of difference. They still wouldn't serve or worship the gold statue the king set up. Can you stand for God Almighty always?

Bible Reading 5: Daniel 6: 19-27

At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. At the king’s command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions’ den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones. Then King Darius wrote to all the nations and peoples of every language in all the earth: “May you prosper greatly! “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” (Daniel 6: 19-27)

 

COMMENT: When the king heard Daniel speak, he was happy that God had rescued Daniel. He ordered Daniel taken up out of the den. Then the king commanded that the conspirators who had informed on Daniel be thrown into the lions' den, along with their wives and children. Before they hit the floor, the lions had them in their jaws, tearing them to pieces. King Darius published a proclamation to honor God. That is what God does when you trust Him and accept His timing for your breakthrough.

Bible Reading 6: Acts 12: 1-11

It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him. Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.” (Acts 12: 1-11)

 

COMMENT: The earnest prayers of the Church made God liberate Peter. They did not pray for James and he got killed. Just seek God when you need Him. Do not try to figure out how

 

He will show up or when He will rescue you. He will always show up when you endure.

Bible Reading 7: Joshua 6: 1-9

Meanwhile, the people of Jericho had been locking the gates in their town wall because they were afraid of the Israelites. No one could go out or come in. The LORD said to Joshua: With my help, you and your army will defeat the king of Jericho and his army, and you will capture the town. Here is how to do it: March slowly around Jericho once a day for six days. Take along the sacred chest and have seven priests walk in front of it, carrying trumpets. But on the seventh day, march slowly around the town seven times while the priests blow their trumpets. Then the priests will blast on their trumpets, and everyone else will shout. The wall will fall down, and your soldiers can go straight in from every side. Joshua called the priests together and said, " Take the chest and have seven priests carry trumpets and march ahead of it." Next, he gave the army their orders: " March slowly around Jericho. A few of you will go ahead of the chest to guard it, but most of you will follow it. Don't shout the battle cry or yell or even talk until the day I tell you to. Then let out a shout!" As soon as Joshua finished giving the orders, the army started marching. One group of soldiers led the way, with seven priests marching behind them and blowing trumpets. Then came the priests carrying the chest, followed by the rest of the soldiers. (Joshua 6: 1-9)

 

 

COMMENT: Listen to the strategies the Lord is giving you for your life's battle and you will overcome. When you are sold out for God like Joshua was, your enemies will be afraid of engaging you in battle!

 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, thank You for Your interest to set me free from every form of captivity and affliction in my life. I passionately cry out to You for deliverance from all negative situations that are holding me back. Help me to be aggressive in my prayer life again. Let my breakthroughs manifest in every area of my life. Father, my peace comes from the knowledge that You are in control. When the enemy strikes and adversity comes, help me to stay in prayer with confidence that my peace will not be taken away because You are my peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

COMMENT: Jesus the Good Shepherd,  gives you eternal life when you believe in Him. It alters your whole existence, the words you speak, and the influences you have. They are all external but they spring from the life within you. This eternal life will make your work vast and stupendous. Listen to the voice of the Lord Jesus eagerly and joyfully. Use His unlimited stores for your needs and those of others. Seek His wonderful truths and you shall find them. You will have the consciousness of His Presence when you hear His voice. You are a pilgrim to Heaven and need only your daily marching orders and strength and guidance. Life has hurt you. Only scarred lives can really save. You cannot escape the discipline. It is the hallmark of discipleship.

COMMENT: The elimination of self is the key to holiness and happiness. Contact with the Lord Jesus is the panacea for all ills. Remember Truth is many-sided. Therefore have tender love and patience for all who do not see as you do. Live in the Presence of Christ and worship Him. Like God, have purer eyes than to behold evil. So always see the good in people, but remember that Jesus beheld the city of Jerusalem and wept over it.

COMMENT: Do not beg God, rather go boldly just as a business manager bringing to the owner the needs, checks to be signed, and difficulties to be resolved. And knowing that to lay down a matter before Him means immediate supply. The Lord Jesus longs to supply you your needs. But your asking or the faith-assurance from you is necessary, because to you that contact with the Lord Jesus is vital. Not one of your cries is unheard. The Lord is with you indeed to aid you. As you obey the Lord Jesus, success shall be yours spiritually, mentally, physically and materially.

COMMENT: Always meet all your difficulties with love and laughter. And be assured that the Lord Jesus is with you. Do not fail Him in your spiritual journey, for He cannot fail you. Remember that he who endures to the end shall be saved. Can you endure to the end? When you endure, endure with courage and love and laughter. Many of your prayers went unanswered because you did not endure to the end. You thought it was too late, and that you must act for yourself, that the Lord Jesus was not going to act for you. is His training too hard for you? He will unlock the secret treasures hidden from so many, for you His child this season as you have waited to the end of this 21-day Daniel fast!

COMMENT: The Lord Jesus needs your love and companionship. But how little you know and sense His need! He came to draw men unto Himself, and sweet it is to feel hearts drawing near in love, not for help, as much as for tender comradeship. Many know the need of people but few know the need of Christ. Tell him and show Him that you love Him today.

COMMENT: The Words of the Lord Jesus are spirit and they are life. This is your reward for believing in Him. They will give you life and joy and peace and healing, in very full measure. You will see this as you continue to study His Word.

COMMENT: Be calm, no matter what may befall you. Do not feel the stress or strain of life. Rest in Christ and let patience do her perfect work. The Lord will not allow anything that will destroy or strain you. The strain is only when you are serving yourself, another master, the world, fame, the good opinion of people or carrying two days' burden on the one day. Love the Lord Jesus and do His will and no evil will befall you. He will teach you continually. Rest your nerves for tired nerves are a reflection on, and not of, God's power. Don't fear poverty but let money flow freely, hoard nothing. The Lord Jesus will let it flow in but you must let it flow out. He never sends money to stagnate - only to those who pass it on. Only have what you need and use. This is His law of discipleship.

 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, Help me develop an intimate relationship with You as I devote myself to a daily appointment with You. may I never get too busy to miss my daily time of fellowship with You. I realize that without prayer, Your promises for my life will NOT remain inactive. Help me to give voice to every specific and general promise You have declared concerning my life. Holy Spirit, help me watch for Your promises and pray in faith for their fulfillment. Father God, please search my heart and see if there is anything that displeases You. Bible Reading 1: Romans 9: 14-21

Are we saying that God is unfair? Certainly not! The Lord told Moses that he has pity and mercy on anyone he wants to. Everything then depends on God's mercy and not on what people want or do. In the Scriptures the Lord says to Pharaoh of Egypt, "I let you become Pharaoh, so that I could show you my power and be praised by all people on earth." Everything depends on what God decides to do, and he can either have pity on people or make them stubborn. Someone may ask, "How can God blame us, if he makes us behave in the way he wants us to?" But, my friend, I ask, "Who do you think you are to question God? Does the clay have the right to ask the potter why he shaped it the way he did? Doesn't a potter have the right to make a fancy bowl and a plain bowl out of the same lump of clay?" (Romans 9: 14-21)

 

COMMENT: God created and raised and kept Pharaoh of Egypt, to become king of the world. When he drowned in the Red Sea, all other kings paid attention and acknowledged God Almighty as the true King of kings. Your purpose on earth is very crucial to your existence. Ask God why He created you tonight, then ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to fully fulfill your destiny. Decree and declare daily that you will never die without fulfilling your divine purpose here on earth.

The LORD was sorry He had made Saul the king of Israel. One day he said, "Samuel, I've rejected Saul, and I refuse to let him be king any longer. Stop feeling sad about him...... Samuel did what the LORD told him and went to Bethlehem. The town leaders went to meet him, but they were terribly afraid and asked, "Is this a friendly visit?" ...... Samuel also invited Jesse and his sons to come to the sacrifice, and he got them ready to take part. When Jesse and his sons arrived, Samuel noticed Jesse's oldest son, Eliab. "He has to be the one the LORD has chosen," Samuel said to himself. But the LORD told him, "Samuel, don't think Eliab is the one just because he's tall and handsome. He isn't the one I've chosen. "Send for him!" Samuel said. "We won't start the ceremony until he gets here." Jesse sent for David. He was a healthy, good-looking boy with a sparkle in his eyes. As soon as David came, the LORD told Samuel, "He's the one! Get up and pour the olive oil on his head." Samuel poured the oil on David's head while his brothers watched. At that moment, the Spirit of the LORD took control of David and stayed with him from then on. Samuel returned home to Ramah. (I Samuel 16: 1-13)

 

COMMENT: God picked David the youngster over more able-bodied brothers. God searches your heart and not your qualifications or competence. He wants to take all the glory when you succeed. God saw something in David's heart which was not in the hearts of the other Jesse sons. Prepare your heart for God to use you mightily this year over all your rivals and enemies, in Jesus' name.

A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous. (Proverbs 13: 22)

 

COMMENT: Tell God you do not want to be an ordinary Christian any more. Desire to be someone special for the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will use you in an extraordinary way. What God sees in your heart will determine how and where He will place you in His plan. Then He will meet your material needs and your children will have an inheritance and a legacy. Understand how the kingdom of God operates and do things right, then all other things will be added unto you and your children and unto your grand children in Jesus' name.

But God sent me on ahead of you to keep your families alive and to save you in this wonderful way. After all, you weren't really the ones who sent me here - it was God. He made me the highest official in the king's court and placed me over all Egypt. Now hurry back and tell my father that his son Joseph says, "God has made me ruler of Egypt. Come here as quickly as you can. you will live near me in the region of Goshen with your children and grandchildren, as well as with your sheep, goats, cattle, and everything else you own. I will take care of you there during the next five years of famine. But if you don't come, you and your family and your animals will starve to death." All of you, including my brother Benjamin, can tell by what I have said that I really am Joseph. Tell my father about my great power here in Egypt and about everything you have seen. COMMENT: Joseph understood that his journey was a divine appointment. He tells the Jacob sons that God sent him ahead to save their lives from the famine. Who else but God could make a slave and foreigner the Prime Minister of Egypt! God has the same wonderful plan for your life if you allow Him.

A follower named Ananias lived in Damascus, and the Lord spoke to him in a vision. Ananias answered, "Lord, here I am." The Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the house of Judas on Straight Street. When you get there, you will find a man named Saul from the city of Tarsus. Saul is praying, and he has seen a vision. He saw a man named Ananias coming to him and putting his hands on him, so that he could see again." Ananias replied, "Lord, a lot of people have told me about the terrible things this man has done to your followers in Jerusalem. now the chief priests have given him the power to come here and arrest anyone who worships in your name." The Lord said to Ananias, "Go! I have chosen him to tell foreigners, kings, and the people of Israel about me. I will show him how much he must suffer for worshiping in my name." (Acts 9: 10-16)

 

COMMENT: Paul had all the education he got just to enable him bear God's name before kings and Gentiles. Look at the difficulties he faced because of his initial way to God, as a Pharisee persecuting the early Christians. Then he listened to God arrest him on the way to Damascus. What are you doing zealously for God this year?

Naaman was the commander of the Syrian army. The LORD had helped him and his troops defeat their enemies, so the king of Syria respected Naaman very much. Some time later the girl said, "If your husband Naaman would go to the prophet in Samaria, he would be cured of his leprosy." When Naaman told the king what the girl had said, the king replied, "Go ahead! I will give you a letter to take to the king of Israel." Naaman left and took along seven hundred fifty pounds of silver, one hundred fifty pounds of gold, and ten new outfits...... Elisha sent someone outside to say to him, "Go wash seven times in the Jordan River. Then you'll be completely cured." But Naaman stormed off, grumbling, "Why couldn't he come out and talk to me? I thought for sure he would stand in front of me and pray to the LORD his God, then wave his hand over my skin and cure me. What about the Abana River or the Pharpar River? Those rivers in Damascus are just as good as any river in Israel. I could have washed in them and been cured." His servants went over to him and said, "Sir, if the prophet had told you to do something difficult, you would have done it. So why don't you do what he said? Go wash and be cured." Naaman walked down to the Jordan; he waded out into the water and stooped down in it seven times, just as Elisha had told him. Right away, he was cured, and his skin became as smooth as a child's. (2 Kings 5: 1-14)

 

COMMENT: God has determined your destiny already. God allowed a young Israeli maid to be taken captive and brought into Naaman's house so that through her testimony, Naaman could be healed, and God's name glorified in Samaria. Do you know your purpose on earth? If not, ask our heavenly Father.

Bible Reading 7: 2 Timothy 2: 19-26

But the foundation that God has laid is solid. On it is written, "The Lord knows who his people are. So everyone who worships the Lord must turn away from evil." In a large house some dishes are made of gold or silver, while others are made of wood or clay. Some of these are special, and others are not. That's also how it is with people. The ones who stop doing evil and make themselves pure will become special. Their lives will be holy and pleasing to their Master, and they will be able to do all kinds of good deeds. Run from temptations that capture young people. Always do the right thing. Be faithful, loving, and easy to get along with. Worship with people whose hearts are pure. Stay away from stupid and senseless arguments. These only lead to trouble, and God's servants must not be troublemakers. They must be kind to everyone, and they must be good teachers and very patient. Be humble when you correct people who oppose you. Maybe God will lead them to

turn to him and learn the truth. They have been trapped by the devil, and he makes them obey him, but God may help them escape. (2 Timothy 2: 19-26)

 

COMMENT: To determine what type of vessel you are - gold or silver or wood or clay - always do right, be faithful, loving, and easy to get along with. Worship with people whose hearts are pure.

 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father God Almighty, You have a divine purpose and design for everything. You made me on purpose. I’m here on purpose for You, to do Your Will. Father, today I give You permission to set my heart on fire. Transform my lifestyle to flow through to the hurting and the lost in sin. Thank you for reviving my frozen life. You have the right roadmap for the fulfillment of Your vision for my life. I commit myself to always seek direction from You. Holy Spirit, give me the mind of Christ and make my heart flexible, willing, and meek, enabling me to receive divine direction. "A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. He said, “Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling. Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia...... (Daniel 10:10-13)

 

Day 21 of our DanielFast!!! Thank You Jesus!! What a holy ride we have had! All the Glory to God Almighty. Only God could have given us the grace to get to where we are today. A special shout out to all the sisters who have religiously made it a duty to be present each and every night. There is power in agreement for one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousand......you can then do  the math.!  "Where two or more are gathered in my name, I will be there with them and I will answer their prayer;" says the Lord Jesus Christ! This is GUARANTEED!!! Any time, any day! 

 

The very first day Daniel started his fast, the Lord heard him and responded. His prayer was answered BUT something happened! Do you know what happened? It may also be happening to you. The prince of Persia held up Daniel's blessing. Can your blessings be held up by a prince of Persia? When we started  this fast, the Lord heard us and has answered us but we must make sure all blessings manifest here on earth in the name of Jesus. Nothing should be held up.  The angel explains his coming to Daniel, and the opposition he faced on the way. God had responded to Daniel's prayer the very moment he had made his request known; but the answers was delayed by the Prince of the kingdom of Persia. This prince is not a man, but an angel of darkness; and an evil angel; a demonic being. The New Testament recognizes that demonic forces are organized, and have a hierarchy; one group is called "principalities" or literally, "governments".  all refer to demonic powers associated with human governments; and on three occasions, Jesus referred to Satan as the prince of this world. There may be hindering factors of which a praying Christian knows nothing as she wonders why the answers to her requests are delayed. Nevertheless, she is to keep on praying. It may be that she will not receive an answer because she has given up on the twentieth day when she should have persisted to the twenty-first day." Jesus mentioned that prayer and fasting have special place in spiritual battles. Jesus taught that men ought always to pray, and not to give up.

To understand spiritual warfare, you must know that there are principalities and powers fighting us each day. Daniel had the prince of Persia. Do you have the prince of your city of residence: prince of Randallstown, Silver Spring, Baltimore, Virginia, Bamenda, Houston, Altanta, Douala, Yaounde, Lagos, holding back your blessings? The question you might be asking me now is what business do I have with a prince or whatever city or town? God loves you and wants to see you blessed. The devil hates you and wants to see you dead!!! Now, when God blesses you, a prince might come and remind God of your lies, kongossa, unforgivness, hate, envy, jealousy, lack of faith, unbelief, bitterness, or of your past failures! That is why the Scriptures advise us to confess our sins every day to a forgiving Father in heaven. He is the God of Justice, so He listens to the accusations of the Princes of darkness against us! 

 

Ask the Holy Spirit today to uproot all vices in you today and receive a new life from God Almighty. Tell the devil and his cohorts to pack their luggage and leave your home today. Put the devil out of business in your family and affairs, including LESA. Tell him there is no more vacancy, no room for him. It's all filled up with the FRUITS of the Holy Spirit. Do you know the FRUITS of the Holy Spirit? They are LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, AND FAITHFULNESS.
