How Great Is God: How Great Is Man?

 

 

Go to this people and say, "You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving." For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. (Acts 28:26-27).

 

The preaching that is transforming people's lives and the World is God's Good News, the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is about the Savior who came as a human baby through king David's royal family line. And by being raised from death, the Holy Spirit proved Jesus to be the mighty Son of God, with the nature of God Himself! God promised that someone from king David's family would come to save the people of Israel. John the Baptizer was telling Israel to turn back to God and be baptized. This Gospel is God's powerful way of saving all people who have faith, both Jew and Gentile. It tells us that God Almighty makes us right in His sight and ready for eternity in Heaven, when we put our faith and trust in Christ to save us. 

 

The person who finds life will find it through trusting God. The truth about the Lord God Almighty is known to us instinctively. God has put this knowledge in our hearts. Though God's eternal power and character cannot be seen, He has manifested them by all He has made, His creation. His majesty and glory fill all the Earth and overflow the heavens. He has made the moon and the stars, all the life on Earth and in the sea. But He shows His anger from Heaven against all evil people who do wicked things and push away the truth. They'll have no excuse saying no to God Most High. For they know about Him, but they won't worship Him or even thank Him for His daily care.

 

You're not your own. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you. You've been bought with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. So glorify the Lord God Almighty in your body. The Kingdom of God is not a matter of material lifestyle, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men. Therefore pursue what makes for peace and mutual edification or up-building. When the Spirit of truth comes into your life by your invitation and reception, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but will speak whatever He hears, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Christ, because He will take what is Christ's and declare it to you. All that God the Father has is Christ's. For this reason He will take what is Christ's in God and declare it to you. Jesus while preparing His disciples for His departure to the Father, told them it was better that He go away because if He did not, the Holy Spirit would not come to them. While Jesus was only able to be in one place at one time because of His physical form, the Holy Spirit is omnipresent and follows as well as lives in each Believer and can be with them always.

 

God Almighty made the World and everything in it. He is Lord of Heaven and Earth, and He doesn't live in man-made temples. He doesn't need help from anyone; human hands cannot minister to His needs - for He has no needs. He gives life and everything else to all people. God is Spirit and those who worship Him, worship in spirit and in truth! Without faith we cannot please Him. God inhabits our praise and worship. He cannot worship, for worship is an act of will towards a higher power. There is none higher than God Most High! Therefore He responds to our worship almost automatically. He cannot share His glory and honor and power with anyone.

 

From one person God Almighty made all nations who live on Earth.  He decided when and where every nation would be. He determined their boundaries, rise and fall. God has done all this so that we'll seek after Him and reach out and find Him. God Almighty isn't far from anyone. For in Him we live and move and function. But you've to surrender to Him for Him to manifest in your life! He gives us the power to live and move and be who we are. We're His own children. Everyone everywhere must turn to Him today, for we know what we're doing in this dispensation of abundant knowledge. God tolerated humanity's past ignorance about these things. But today, He commands everyone to put away idols and worship only Him. He has set a day for judging people with fairness. And He has chosen the Lord Jesus Christ to do the judging for Him. God has given proof of this by raising Jesus from death.

 

Therefore, endeavor to live a life worthy of the Lord,  pleasing Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to God the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For the Lord God Almighty has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

 

For by Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the Church. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on Earth or things in Heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross. Our Lord God Almighty, how majestic is Your name in all the Earth! You have set Your glory in the heavens. Our Lord and our Father God, how majestic is Your name in all the Earth!
