How You Can Live Forever: How You Can Never Die!

 

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6). I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage; I have conquered the world." (John 16:33).

 

The Lord Jesus Christ taught about living forever and never dying. He declared on many occasions that He is the way and the truth and the life! The Bible declares that eating from the tree of life will enable one to live forever. Some people are hoping for a scientific breakthrough so they will never die. Living forever can only be found by seeking spiritual life found in the Lord Jesus Christ. He Himself taught that we’ll never experience eternal death if we keep His words. The message of salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, reveals the truth about living forever and immortality. He has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light. He gave us His word on how we can have this living-forever experience. The following paragraphs are what the Lord Jesus Christ declares.

 

First, if anyone keeps the TEACHINGS of the Lord Jesus Christ, they’ll never see death. If you obey His words you'll never die. No one who obeys God the Son shall ever die! If anyone keeps His word, they’ll never die.

 

Second, the Lord Jesus Christ declares that He is the LIVING BREAD that came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, they’ll live forever and not die. This bread is His flesh, which He gives for the life of the World. The true bread of God the Father is He who gives life to the World. No one who comes to Him will ever be hungry. No one who has faith in Him will ever be thirsty. He is the bread that gives life! The bread from Heaven has come down so that anyone who eats it, unlike the manna in the wilderness, will never die. His flesh is the life-giving bread that He gives to the people of this World. They who eat His flesh and drink His blood abide in Him, and He in them. And they're one with Him, and He is one with them! When He refers to eating His flesh and drinking His blood, He is talking about enjoying the benefits which come from His death. Jesus is teaching us that we need todepend on Him utterly, moment by moment, in order to survive. Christ intends us to radically change course in our lives. Jesus describes our relationship with Him in the same terms as His relationship with the Father. We must feed on Him as He feeds on the Father. He does this by utter submission and dependence, just as we should submit to Christ and depend on Him.

 

Third, Jesus the Messiah declares that He is the RESURRECTION and the life. They who believe in Him will live, even though they die. And whoever lives and believes in Him will never die. Do you believe this? They who believe in Him have everlasting life. Everything and everyone that God the Father has given Jesus the Son of God will come to the Son, and He won't turn any of them away. For He had come to do God's will, rather than to have His own way. And this is the will of God, that Jesus the Redeemer should not lose even one of those given Him. But that He should raise them up to eternal life at the Last Day! For itis God's will that those believing in the Messiah should have eternal life. Everyone who has faith in Him has eternal life. Anyone who believes in Him already has eternal life! Yes, Jesus is the Bread of Life! Anyone eating this bread shall live forever. This bread is His flesh given to redeem humanity.

 

Fourth, never seek Jesus the Christ just because you want Him to feed you. Learn to believe in Him and learn to perceive the MIRACLES He is performing in your life, in other people, and in the World. Don't just be so concerned with perishable things, the material things. Learn to work for things that give eternal life, that expand God’s kingdom on Earth. Spend your energy seeking eternal life that Jesus the Messiah can give you. For God the Father sent Him to the Earth for that very purpose. God the Father wants you to have faith in the One He sent to translate you from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. That is God's will for us. God the Father has set is seal on Jesus the Christ.

 

The Bible is clear in stating that for us to live forever and never die we must continue to obeythe teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, continue to feed off His body and blood, continue to believe on Him, and continue to work for the things that give eternal life. These are all referring to the same act, because to believe on Jesus is the same thing as to keep His word, as well as the same thing to feed off of his flesh, and finally the same thing as to work for the things that build the kingdom of God on Earth! The Lord’s Apostles similarly taught on living forever and never dying when they declared that the world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. We are to continue to do the will of God, which is to keep His word, feed off of his flesh, believe on Jesus, and to work for the kingdom of Heaven.

 

Living in God’s presence beyond the grave is what is meant by immortality, which is the same as living forever. Those who don’t live forever will experience eternal death and will be conscious forever in fiery torment. Immortality is referred to throughout the Bible. In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. Those seeking immortality will get eternal life and it comes from righteous living, those persisting in doing good. Immortality is a definite promise held out for the Christian. The perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

 Therefore stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Only the blood of Jesus can enable us to eat from the tree of life so you can live forever. Jesus is our only hope and Savior. Look no further than the message of the Bible to learn about immortality and living forever. The precious truth of Almighty God tells us how. He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying: “To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” (Revelation 2:7).
