Reviving Our World

 

And they said, Come, let us build us a city and a tower whose top reaches into the sky, and let us make a name for ourselves... And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them. (Genesis 11: 4-6 TLB). The Lord said to Abraham: Leave your country, your family, and your relatives and go to the land that I will show you. I will bless you and make your descendants into a great nation. You will become famous and be a blessing to others. I will bless anyone who blesses you, but I will put a curse on anyone who puts a curse on you. Everyone on earth will be blessed because of you. (Genesis 12:1-3 CEV).

 

To Revive Our World, remember that neither Catholic Christianity symbolized by Rome nor Protestant Christianity symbolized by America nor Orthodox Christianity symbolized by Greece nor Coptic Christianity symbolized by Egypt in Africa have resolved the World's problems, because of their  inability to defend the Church against an aggressive form of secularism. But these denominations of Christianity are not to blame for the World's problems. The World's problems have been due to the Babylonian system of doing things without God, Secularism, the legendary Tower of Babel. On the other hand, the Church has been engaged in doing things God's way to fulfill God's promise to Abraham. God promised to make Abraham a great Nation! But the World models after Nimrod, to make their names great! God is still in control of World Affairs! He creates and abolishes nations, promotes and demotes men! Doing things God's way is taking actions that glorify God. 

 

Some Churches and Ministers have drifted far away from the uncompromised biblical teachings of Jesus Christ - simply teaching what they believe people want to hear. They have lost any power to Revive Our World. Christ is opening more doors for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout the World. Jesus stated that this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the World as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. He will return to Earth as King of kings and Lord of lords. He will establish the Kingdom of God on Earth, and all nations will submit to His divine government that will ensure world peace and prosperity, justice and tranquility, joy and happiness. Jesus commissioned His servants to prepare the way for His coming by preaching the Gospel of God's Kingdom. Christ has given us a mission to prepare the world for His Second Coming!

 

To Revive Our World, understand it was once believed that American public life was decisively shaped by the moral and spiritual witness of the Protestant leading Churches. It appears that these venerable Churches sold their souls to the counterculture, abandoned the moral and religious tenets of historical Christianity, embraced a series of increasingly left-wing and anti-American causes, and then saw their numbers and cultural influence plummet. The decline of the leading Churches is indeed a significant event in recent American cultural and political history. This deprived America of the theologically grounded public philosophy. But as providence would have it, two other monumental cultural and religious developments unfolded. The time was ripe for evangelicals and Catholics to come together to form a successor to the leading Churches. Protestant evangelicalism became politicized.

 

The public philosophy promulgated by this new-fangled amalgam of evangelicalism and Catholicism staunchly opposed abortion and euthanasia. It would be strongly anti-communist. It would be passionately pro-capitalist. It would favor using military force to promote democracy. And it would re-describe the United States, its history, and its form of government in providential-theological terms, with the rights espoused in the nation's founding documents declared to derive directly from medieval concepts of natural law. Once the country embraced this public philosophy - turning it into a governing philosophy - the United States would supposedly flourish as never before, protecting the unborn, unleashing economic liberty at home, defending democracy and fighting tyranny abroad, and most of all bringing the nation back to its properly Christian roots. This model can be used to Revive Our World!

 

God gives us the freedom to choose selfish independence, but the people who choose to live contrary to His laws of love and compassion will have to face various problems with unpleasant pressures and pain. There is a positive redemptive purpose to every problem you face. Your problems will be resolved as fast as you cease to be proud or lazy, unforgiving or selfish, ignorant or resistant to growth! Your problems define the battle line of God's transforming encounter with your pride and laziness, unforgiveness and ignorance, selfishness and resistance to becoming mature. After Christ returns as King of kings and Lord of lords, Christ will rule all nations. At that time, all nations will learn the way to peace from the Prince of Peace. To Revive Our World, let Christ rule your life now! God is now calling thousands to repent and to seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. Every year brings us closer to the return of Christ to this earth.
