Reviving Your Lifestyle!

 

Now many of the Jews are enemies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They hate it. But this has been a benefit to you, for it has resulted in God’s giving His gifts to you Gentiles. Yet the Jews are still beloved of God because of His promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For God’s gifts and His call can never be withdrawn; He will never go back on His promises. (Romans 11: 28-29 TLB).

 

How very rich are God's wisdom and knowledge! All things come from Him. All things are directed by Him. And all things are for His good. May God be given the glory forever! Some people are also faithful today. They have been chosen by God's grace. Those who are chosen by God receive what they want so badly. God made the rest of them stubborn. God made it hard for them to understand. And they are still like that today.  When they were not accepted, it became possible for the whole World to be brought back to God. Some of the natural branches have been broken off. You are a wild olive branch. But you have been joined to the tree with the other branches. Now you enjoy the life-giving sap of the olive tree root. They were broken off because they didn't believe. You stand only because you do believe. God is kind and He is firm. You must continue to live in His kindness to Revive Your Lifestyle.

 

Part of Israel has refused to obey God Almighty. This will continue until the full number of non-Jews has entered God's Kingdom. And so all Israel will be saved. The One who saves will come from Mount Zion. He will remove sin from Jacob. As far as the Good News is concerned, the people of Israel are enemies. That is for your good, to enable the non-Jews to be saved. But as far as God's choice is concerned, the people of Israel are loved. That is because of God's promises to the founders of the nation of Israel. God doesn't take back His gifts. He doesn't change His mind about those He has chosen. At one time you didn't obey God. But now you have received mercy because Israel didn't obey. In the same way, Israel hasn't been obeying God. But now they receive mercy because of God's mercy to you. God has found everyone guilty of not obeying Him. So now He can have mercy on everyone to enable You Revive Your Lifestyle.

 

Now that God has shown us His mercy, let us offer up our bodies to Him as living sacrifice, to Revive Our Lifestyle. Your body is a holy sacrifice that is pleasing to God Almighty. When you offer your body to God, you're worshiping Him. Don't live the way this World lives. Let your way of thinking be completely changed. Then you'll be able to test what God wants for you. And you'll agree that what He wants is right. His plan is good and pleasing and perfect. Be reasonable when you think of yourself and don't think of yourself more highly than you should. Use good sense and measure yourself by the amount of faith that God has given you. God has also given each of us different gifts to use... To prophesy... Or to serve others... Or to teach... Or to encourage others... Or to give generously... Or to be leaders... Or to show mercy. We should do our best. If we are good to others, we should do it cheerfully.

 

Finally, to Revive Our Lifestyle, our victory is in our own hands in partnership with the Lord Jesus Christ. We must constantly seek fulfillment and change through personal growth to our full potential. Our needs must include but rise above survival and physiological, safety and security, social and love, status and esteem, service and work, self-actualization and growth, to the spiritual and supernatural. They must exceed nurturing our body, soul and heart, to the concerns of the spirit man. In that dimension of needs, you'll not only be doing what you are capable of doing as designed by God for your highest potential, but you'll be helping other people to attain their fullest potential. Mature and grow daily by completing your salvation through faith. And control, patience, godliness, kindness, and love. Then our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will give you a glorious welcome into His kingdom that will last forever.
